Hotel Kapllani is situated right in the old town of Berat, this place has the perfect balance of charm and convenience. What really makes Hotel Kapllani stand out, though, is the service. From the moment you arrive, you’re treated like family. We were lucky enough to get a free room upgrade when ours wasn’t ready and when we had to leave early, they packed us a takeaway breakfast, how thoughtful is that?

The rooms are a perfect mix of traditional and modern. Immaculately clean, spacious, and super comfortable, they’re great whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with a family. The rooftop is an absolute bonus: the views over the Gorica Bridge and old town are stunning, and it’s the perfect spot to soak in the atmosphere of Berat. Speaking of atmosphere, the restaurant downstairs is a must-try. Located on a cozy square alongside two other bars, it has a warm vibe and delicious food. The soups and mains were fantastic, and the prices are more than reasonable.

Special shoutout to Emre, the friendly waiter who made us feel so welcome. The whole Kapllani family is incredibly kind and hospitable, making sure every detail is just right. Oh and parking is easy too, just a minute away in a little lot on the right-hand side of the road. Honestly, Hotel Kapllani had everything we needed: charm, comfort, great food, and unbeatable hospitality. If you’re visiting Berat, don’t miss the chance to stay at Hotel Kapllani!
